Elaine S. Dalton is chair of the Board of Trustees for Utah Valley University. She served as the thirteenth Young Women general president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2008 2013, having previously served as second counselor and as first counselor in the Young Women general presidency. Previous to that she served on the Young Women General Board. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Brigham Young University. She owned her own Interior Design business. She and her husband are the parents of five sons and one daughter.
