Celeste Mergens is a humanitarian and the founder of the organization Days for Girls. Days for Girls provides reusable sanitary supplies for girls and women around the world, allowing them more freedom to pursue their education. Days for Girls has distributed more than one million sanitary kits in 17 nations and on 6 continents. In addition to her service around the globe for girls and women, she has been a foster parent and a host to foreign exchange students many times over. Celeste was named Mother of the Year in Washington state in 2014.
